Ben

Ben Sawyer grew up in North Carolina, and was happy there until he started traveling. In the last decade, Ben has lived in the South, the Midwest, Southern California, and Russia. Along the way he built a log cabin, renovated a couple of houses, earned a PhD in history, and co-created a human boy named Solomon. All of this living has given Ben some spectacular material for his performances. Ben’s foray into comedy began in 2012, when he relocated from Moscow to Los Angeles and decided to take a swing at stand up. Since moving to Nashville in 2013, Ben has become an active member of a thriving comedy community, and has performed at comedy clubs across the country, including Zanies, Comedy Zone, and Flappers. He is also the creator, head writer, and host of the comedy game show Perfect Timing, which takes place monthly at Zanies Nashville.
